Skala Rachoni is a small and very slowly developing beach community. It has a spectacular Greek Orthodox Church, a number of small hotels nestled among the olive groves which border the coastline, and numerous family run restaurants serving fresh fish, local meat, and vegetable dishes. You'll also find a number of rather trendy cafe-bars and snack bars, which will amaze you with their background eclectic musical choices, as well as offering you a relaxing environment in which to enjoy your coffee, while gazing for hours out to sea.

It offers a large supermarket with a very extensive range of groceries and household goods, petrol station, regular, all year round bus service, tennis, beach and water sports, as well as the opportunity to stroll in and amongst the silver grey-green of the olive groves, which are abundant because of the mild climate in this part of the island.
