Kinira is less than 30 minutes drive on an excellent road from Thassos town. It gives the impression of being away from all of the hustle and bustle of the daily grind. But, in addition to its exquisite location, a beach resort, with two spotless white pebble twin beaches nestled into the densely wooded, steep mountain sides; it offers a range of bars and restaurants, hotels with pools, supermarkets and mini markets, a regular bus service, and excellent access to the marble beaches around the south of the island.

The most wonderful thing about Kinira is that a visitor can sit on his balcony, absorbing the visual beauty of the dense green mountains, the deep azure sea, the brilliant blue of the sky above, the sparkling white of the marble pebbles on the beach, just fill his soul with this visual beauty and peace, and yet know that within a couple of minutes, there is access to the busier resorts of the north and south of the island.
