THE HOME

If you have ever dreamed of holidays in a quiet and peaceful place, with a view of the crystal clean waters of Thassos and its green surroundings, then Mnimes Maisonette is exactly what you are looking for. A spacious maisonette in one of the most beautiful places on the island. Its most attractive feature being the large veranda with magical views and cool breezes to enjoy carefree summer moments. Just 50 metres from the famous ‘Golden Beach’ and 15 minutes drive from Thassos Town, Mnimes Maisonette promises to provide ideal summer holidays for you and your family.

It is a beautiful, minimal-style maisonette that was fully renovated in the summer of 2022, so as to provide you with all comfort. A very hospitable, two-storey house of high standards, ideal for families and large companies. At the entrance of the home we find a large and beautiful space, consisting of the living room and the modern kitchen, which is fully equipped for the preparation of any meal. The living room is very comfortable and has got a sofa that can be transformed into a double bed, a smart tv and air conditioning. On the same floor we find the fully renovated bathroom in grey and white tones, with its modern shower area, ideal for a relaxing and rejuvenating shower after a day at the beach.

On the lower level we can find two bedrooms. The first one has got a comfortable double bed with a wardrobe, a chest of drawers and air conditioning. The second bedroom has got two single beds, a wardrobe and a fan.

The home also provides wi-fi, with a perfect signal in all spaces, and equipment for washing and ironing your clothes. The accommodation will of course be made available to you with the beds made and with clean towels.

An important place of relaxation and enjoyment during your stay is the veranda with its panoramic views of the sea. It provides outside furniture for your meetings and a private barbeque where you can grill the meat or fish of your choice. Furthermore, there is an outdoor shower in the yard, with hot water, that you can use on return from all your beach activities.

The side road offers free and safe parking.

THE LOCATION

Going down a winding road, starting from the traditional village of Panagia, one ends up in Skala Panagia, at the famous beach of ‘Golden Sands’. This name was given because of the sand, shining like gold, reflecting the rays of the sun. The maisonette is located exactly where the asphalt meets the sand, only a few steps from the beach. It offers the ideal holiday for 5 people that wish to only walk a few metres before diving into the sea!

WHAT IS NEARBY

You will find the central shopping area right next to you. Within walking distance there are grocery stores, butchers, tavernas, restaurants, cafeterias, a bakery and water sports. The popular bay of ‘Golden Beach’ stretches from Skala Panagia to Skala Potamia, over two and a half kilometres. You will enjoy the walk on the pedestrian road, where you can find all sorts of food and fun places to make your holidays even better. Parallel to this road, we find the asphalt ring road (the Tour of the Island) that can bring you easily and swiftly to every interesting touristic spot on the island, by car, taxi or regular bus routes. The picturesque village of Panagia, officially recognised by the Greek authorities as a traditional settlement, is only a 5 minute drive away.
